Gymnastics - (Grades K-8)
Our seasonal gymnastics program is once again starting! This session, we are creating an opportunity for the older group to develop their gymnastic skills. The program will have all the same equipment as the RFA varsity gymnastics program uses. Our certified Gymnastics instructor, Shannon Rounds, will focus on skills with the beam, un-even bars, vault and tumbling! All levels and experienced gymnasts are encouraged to come try out our program!

Teen Strength Training 101 Ages (14-18)
This is a basic level class for teenagers who are looking to increase muscle strength and increase body size. Six teens Max! Boys and Girls!

Parent Child Awareness Gym Classes (Ages 2-4)
This class provides an opportunity for children and their parent/caregiver to gather weekly for structured, age appropriate classes. Each class can incorporate music, rhymes and songs. Physical activities are used to stimulate the child's awareness, encourage motor skill development, increase socialization skills and overall increase the child's developmental abilities in fun safe environment. This is an interactive class for both child and parent/caregiver. Certified teacher and mom, Jillian Olney, wll be instructor.

Gym and Swim (Ages 5-16)
Gym and Swim is a 7 week program designed for home schooled children to interact with their peers and stay active and fit. This program offers 45 minutes of structured swimming and 45 minutes of instructed gym time. Gym and Swim is a good way for kids to stay active, live healthy, and meet other home schooled children.

Boys and Girls Soccer Skills, Drills, and Scoring Goals (Ages 5-12)
This clinic will focus on dribbling, passing, and scoring goals. We provide a positive sports experience for all participants. Build self-esteem, develop sportsmanship, learn team concepts, and most importantly, have fun! Instructed by Megan Huckabone.

Zumba® for Kids! (Ages 5 and Up)
Kids are able to come enfoy all the benefits of Zumba®. This class helps develop and promote a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives by making fitness fun. This class is open to children five and up. Our instructors are Nancy and Pilar.

Pre-Season Basketball Clinic Grades (5-12)
This clinic will focus on learning the fundamentals of the sport for the younger group and conditioning and advanced techniques to the older group. The clinic will be instructed by Bruce Hairston and staff. The number of participants will be limited so we can provide more individualized instruction.

Teaching children water safety and the ability to swim is a primary goal of YMCA Youth Development programming. Lessons are divided by age and swimming ability and begin with parent/child classes and progress to independent advanced classes. Class days and times vary by your child's age and ability.

Little Steps: Music & Movement (Birth-4 Years)
We strive to develop the whole child and to provide and environment for toddlers to learn, gain self-confidence, make new friends and respect others. This is a great start for parents who are looking for that "first step" to structure for their toddler. This session of Little Steps will feature music & movement through singing, instrument play, listening and dancing. Parents are asked to attend with their child. Register by September 3rd!

Pokemon League (Grades K-6)

Join us for a 7 week Pokemon league where children Grades K-6 learn to play, have fun and make friends! Most importantly, this league promotes fun, fairness, honesty, respect, sportsmanship and learning. Registration includes a starter deck.

Youth & Teen Nights Begins Saturday, September 10th
Our Y's goal is to promote safe and engaging activities to youth in a postive environment. To accomlish this goal, our Y is open exclusively to youth and teens on Saturday nights. Our staff is dedicated to giving youth a great evening of fun and entertainment. We will offer many engaging activities each week that will encourage building new friendships.

Children’s Film Making
Children's Film Program & Acting
This exciting and educational hands-on film making course introduces your child to all the major tasks involved in getting a film produced. The Program will include 28 weeks of on-camera acting, screen writing and producing. Students will collaborate on out their own professional screen play that will allow each "crew" member to experience their contribution in varying production roles. At the end of their film making journey they will experience a "Red Carpet" moment by having their very own film premier with family and friends to enjoy.
After twenty two years working in Hollywood, as both an Actress and Production Manager at three major studios, Instructor Chase Clifford has returned to the area to teach this fully professional project.
