Interactive Game Room
Open Mon-Thurs 5-8pm for ages 5-12. An exciting room featuring a sports wall, Dance Dance Revolution and a big screen TV with a Nintendo Wii. A great blend of fun and exercise! Parents, drop your kids off to exercise while you do your workout. Free!

Adult Boxing Program
The Adult Boxing program is open to adults ages 18+. It runs after school Monday thru Thursday and is held 7-8:30pm. The program is held at Strough, but you must signup at the Rome YMCA. This program starts up in October and ends with the school year. Cost is $20/month for members and $40/month for non-members.

YMCA Youth Boxing Program
Boxing Training Program for Youth ages 10-18 years old, open to boys and girls. Learn the basics of boxing including stance, footwork, combos and how to train. Held at Strough Middle School boxing gymnasium in partnership with the Rome City School District. Click Here to download the registration and release forms.

Gym & Swim
A ninety minute phys ed program for home schooled children ages 5-16. Includes instructed gym class and structured swim. Runs along the school year for 8 week sessions. Join an existing class or start a new one with your own group. Sessions start back up in January and March. After the March session this program will resume again in September.
Members $30 / Non-Members $60

Youth Night

Saturdays 5:30-7:30PM. Ages 5-12 are welcome. Activities include swimming, gym games, ping pong, interactive game room, movie nights and more. Fully staffed and supervised. Parents may drop off your child and leave in them a safe and fun environment. Cost is only $4.

Teen Night

Saturdays 8-13 PM for ages 13-18 who are in school. Activities include open gym, basketball, swimming, ping pong, movies, music, use of Teen Center, and more. Fully staffed and supervised. Cost is only $4.

Youth Night

Open to children ages 5-12 years old who are granted exclusive access to the entire YMCA facility.  Participants are supervised by trained YMCA staff and are able to be dropped off and picked up at the facility.  Activities include gymnasium, pool, laser tag, ping pong, foosball, racquetball courts, bounce house, aerobics room and more!  Every Saturday night from 5:00 to 7:30pm  Cost $4.00 per child for members and $6 per child for non-members.  $2.00 additional for access to interactive video games.  Each child must be signed in and out by a parent/adult guardian.

Teen Night

Open to teens ages 12-17 years old who are granted exclusive access to the entire YMCA facility.  Participants are supervised by trained YMCA staff and are able to be dropped off and picked up at the facility.  Activities include gymnasium, pool, laser tag, foosball, aerobics, racquetball courts and more!  Every Saturday night from 8:00 to 10:00pm.  Cost is $4.00 per teen for members and $6 per teen for non-members. $2.00 additional for access to interactive video games.  Teens are able to sign themselves in and out.  

**All teens attending teen night must have a photo ID.  They are able to use their SAFE Child ID card, membership card or school photo ID.  If a teen does not have photo ID, they may only attend if their parent signs them in and out of the program.**

Little Gymmers Tumbling Class (4 - 8 Years)

Children will participate in a 7 week program that offers a fun environment to learn the basics of acrobatics and gymnastics skills.  This program will offer stretching, balance, basic tumbling and social interaction.  This program runs January 6th to February 17th.  Register by December 28th to avoid a late fee.  

Monday from 5:00 to 5:45pm  

$30 for members     $60 for non-members $15 SACC Participants

Introduction to Acrobatics & Tumbling (6-10 Years)

This is a 7 week program designed to introduce youth to the dynamics of gymnastics & tumbling.  The program will be medium tempo with plenty of time for one-on-one instruction as well as plenty of opportunities for social interaction.  This program runs January 6th to February 17th.  Register by December 28th to avoid a late fee.  

Monday from 6:00 to 7:00pm

$30 for members $60 for non-members $15 SACC participants

Intermediate Acrobatics & Tumbling (open ages- prerequisite:  Oneida YMCA Introductory Acro & Tumbling)  (Program Currently Pending)

Children will participate in a 7 week program for children who have completed the introduction to acrobatics and tumbling class.  New participants must be tested for ability before entering this class.  Parents and guardians who are members of the YMCA are able to attend adult programming while their child participates in our program.   

Monday from 7:00 to 8:00pm

$30 for members $60 for non-members $15 SACC participants

Private Acrobatics Lessons  

One on one instruction is provided by seasoned instructors to help your child advance in their tumbling & gymnastics skills.  Paid in full at time of registration.  Scheduled by appointment only.  Minimum of 4 lesson commitment required.  Cost is $25 per lesson for members and $37.50 per lesson for non-members.

Rentals and Splash Parties

Any family, group or organization may rent the pool, Party Room or Gymnasium for a private party.  Available Saturday or Sunday afternoons.  Add-on packages available including inflatable obstacle course, laser tag, or a pizza package from Mark's Pizzeria.  Your pizza will be ordered and delivered to the Y!  Pricing available for Members and Non-Members.  Contact a Member Services Representative for more information, available dates or to schedule a party.  Parties exclude the months of July and August.  Click for the rental agreement, page 1 and page 2.

Both competitive and recreational adult basketball leagues run throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. Please call 363-7788 if you are interested in getting a team together for the Fall.

Children's Film Program & Acting

This exciting and educational hands-on film making course introduces your child to all the major tasks involved in getting a film produced. The Program will include 24 weeks of on-camera acting, screen writing and producing. Students will collaborate on out their own professional screen play that will allow each "crew" member to experience their contribution in varying production roles. At the end of their film making journey they will experience a "Red Carpet" moment by having their very own film premier with family and friends to enjoy.

After twenty two years working in Hollywood, as both an Actress and Production Manager at three major studios, Instructor Chase Clifford has returned to the area to teach this fully professional project.
Film Class will begin January 14, 2012 on Saturdays 12:00- 2:00pm (24 weeks for 10-14 year olds)
Children's Acting will begin March 17, 2012 11:30 to 12:30pm (10 weeks for 5-9 year olds)
